Industry: Data Center / Critical FacilitiesJob Title: Data Center Facility ManagerReports To: Data Center Operations ManagerLocation: Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaJob SummaryLead the day-to-day operations of a mission-critical data center. The role is responsible for ensuring 24x7 availability, reliability, safety, security, operational compliance, and service continuity while managing technical teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesLead overall data center operations and ensure 24x7x365 service continuity and availability.Manage critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure including MV/LV systems, transformers, generators, UPS, switchgear, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, pumps, BMS/EPMS, DCIM, fire and life-safety systems.Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is completed safely and within SLA/KPI requirements.Review and approve SOPs, MOPs, EOPs, LOTO, switching and isolation procedures.Lead emergency response, incident management, RCA and corrective action processes.Manage change control and ensure all facility changes are properly assessed, approved and documented.Monitor BMS, EPMS, DCIM and critical alarms and ensure timely escalation and resolution.Manage vendors, OEMs, subcontractors, AMC/SLA performance and maintenance activities.Lead and develop the operations team, including staffing, rosters, competency assessments and training.Manage critical spare parts, tools, assets and equipment lifecycle requirements.Monitor operational risks, capacity, redundancy and infrastructure performance.Support budgeting, cost control, procurement and lifecycle planning.Maintain compliance with HSE requirements, client standards, regulatory requirements and data center best practices.Prepare operational reports and monitor KPI/SLA performance.Lead Uptime Institute Tier Certification and Tier Certification of Operational Sustainability (TCOS) readiness, compliance and continuous improvement activities.Maintain operational readiness for audits, certifications and client assessments.Drive continuous improvement, reliability enhancement and energy-efficiency initiatives.Act as the key operational interface with clients, IT teams, vendors and other stakeholders.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.Minimum 8-10 years of relevant data center/critical facilities experience, with at least 3-5 years in a management or leadership role.Strong hands-on knowledge of critical electrical and mechanical systems.Experience in Tier III/Tier IV or other mission-critical data center environments preferred.Strong knowledge of BMS, EPMS, DCIM, CMMS/CAFM and alarm management.Proven experience in incident management, emergency response, MOP/SOP/EOP, LOTO and change management.Strong vendor, client and team management skills.Excellent communication, leadership, analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure and participate in 24x7/on-call operations.Preferred CertificationsUptime Institute TCOS / ATS or equivalent operational sustainability certification/training.Uptime Institute Tier Certification training/certification.Data Center Certified Professional (CDCP) or equivalent.ITIL.Data Center Operations / Facilities Management certification.Electrical Safety / HV Switching.Business Continuity, Crisis Management or Project Management certifications.Candidates with strong mission-critical/data center operations experience, Uptime Institute exposure, and proven leadership capability are encouraged to apply.
