Location: Various U.S. Data Center Sites (Travel Required)Schedule: Rotational Travel Schedule About the RoleWe are seeking Data Center Technicians (Level I, II, and Lead) to support large-scale data center deployments and critical infrastructure projects throughout the United States. These individuals will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting network and data center infrastructure within live production environments.This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-scale projects involving fiber optics, structured cabling, network infrastructure, hardware deployments, and data center operations.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot data center infrastructurePerform rack and stack deployments of servers, switches, cabinets, and network equipmentPull, terminate, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic and copper cablingInterpret network diagrams, rack elevations, cable schedules, and technical documentationSupport hardware installations and equipment replacementsTroubleshoot connectivity, infrastructure, and physical network issuesWork within active production environments while following strict operational proceduresMaintain accurate documentation of installations and infrastructure changesLead Technicians will mentor junior team members and help coordinate project executionRequired Qualifications2+ years of experience in data centers, telecommunications, network infrastructure, structured cabling, or related environmentsExperience working with both fiber optic and copper cablingExperience pulling, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting cabling infrastructureUnderstanding of single-mode and multimode fiberExperience with rack and stack deploymentsAbility to troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and infrastructure issuesExperience reading technical documentation and network diagramsAbility to work independently in fast-paced environmentsPreferred QualificationsFiber splicing or fusion splicing experienceExperience using OTDRs, light meters, and fiber certification toolsExperience troubleshooting switches, routers, and network hardwareExperience consoling into network devicesExperience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, or similar networking environmentsPrevious experience supporting medium to large-scale data centersLeadership experience for Lead Technician opportunitiesIdeal BackgroundsCandidates with experience in any of the following are highly encouraged to apply:Data Center OperationsData Center DeploymentStructured CablingTelecommunicationsFiber Optic InstallationNetwork InfrastructureCritical FacilitiesLow Voltage InstallationFiber ConstructionField Service EngineeringWhat Makes a Strong CandidateHands-on experience with fiber installation, testing, and troubleshootingStrong understanding of structured cabling systemsExperience supporting live production environmentsProven troubleshooting abilities and logical problem-solving skillsAbility to explain real-world project experience and technical accomplishmentsStrong work ethic, communication skills, and willingness to learnTechnician LevelsData Center Technician IEntry to mid-level roleFocus on installations, cabling, rack and stack, and hardware deploymentStrong attitude and willingness to learn are highly valuedData Center Technician IIAdvanced installation and troubleshooting responsibilitiesGreater independence and technical ownershipExperience supporting critical infrastructure preferredLead Data Center TechnicianLead project execution and field activitiesMentor and support junior techniciansStrong technical troubleshooting and leadership experience required
