Infrastructure Data Centre Project Manager – 12 Month Contract (London, Hybrid)Inside IR35 - £550 P/D We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure / Data Centre Project Manager to deliver complex, high-availability infrastructure projects across our enterprise environment. This role requires strong technical understanding, exceptional stakeholder management, and the ability to drive delivery in a fast-paced, hybrid working model.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and external customers.Understand high-level and low-level technical architectures, facilitating technical discussions and guiding decisions on the most appropriate solutions.Ensure all project requirements and documentation meet company standards and are delivered on schedule.Develop and present comprehensive technical solutions to customers and senior stakeholders.Lead project communications, including conference calls, technical reviews, and status reporting.Oversee and coordinate complex data centre installations, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across compute, storage, network, and facilities components.Coordinate cabling, rack-and-stack, power provisioning, cooling requirements, and physical data centre readiness activities.Work closely with data centre operations teams to plan and execute change windows, maintenance events, and deployment schedules.Ensure compliance with data centre security, access control procedures, and operational standards.Track hardware procurement, delivery schedules, asset lifecycle, and vendor service activities.Report and escalate all observed problems through appropriate operational channels.Manage change and release communications to customers and internal stakeholders.Create clear and concise operational playbooks, technical documentation, and handover materials.Flexibility to work irregular hours when required (e.g., maintenance windows, go-lives).Skills & ExperienceDegree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.5+ years of project delivery management experience.Minimum 5 years supporting and/or delivering field services for hardware and software products.Strong knowledge of data centre environments, including servers, networking, storage, cabling, power, cooling and physical security.Proven track record managing data centre migrations, deployments, or large-scale infrastructure rollouts.Experienced in coordinating global, cross-functional technical teams.Excellent communication, presentation and customer-facing skills.Strong organisational ability with the capacity to multitask and operate with minimal supervision.PMP certification preferred.
