Data Centre Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the data center and mission-critical facilities marketBuild and maintain strong relationships with data center owners, operators, consultants, and EPC contractorsPrepare technical and commercial proposals for precision cooling systems, CRAC/CRAH units, chillers, and related HVAC solutionsConduct site assessments and collaborate with engineering teams to design cooling solutions that meet client requirements and capacity needsPresent technical solutions to clients, addressing energy efficiency (PUE), redundancy, and reliability requirementsDevelop and execute account and territory sales strategies to meet revenue targetsPrepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and bid submissionsNegotiate contracts and close sales in line with company pricing and margin guidelinesStay current on data center industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging cooling technologiesCoordinate with project management, engineering, and service teams to ensure smooth project handover and customer satisfactionAttend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote Johnson Controls' data center cooling portfolio.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related fieldMinimum 7 years of experience in HVAC sales, with a focus on data center or mission-critical environmentsStrong technical understanding of precision cooling systems, chilled water systems, and free cooling solutionsProven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B technical sales environmentFamiliarity with ASHRAE TC9.9 guidelines and data center Tier classifications (Uptime Institute)Existing network within the Saudi data center/EPC/consultant community is highly desirableStrong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus
