Apply & track with Apply EdgeData CoordinatorPosition SummaryThe Information Management Data Coordinator is part of the Major Capital Project (MCP) Information Management Team. The role is the focal point for Facility Engineering Asset Data (Equipment/Tag) across the project lifecycle, ensuring data quality, integrity and completeness for a smooth handover from the project to Operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAsset Data ManagementServe as the focal point for managing Facility Engineering Asset Data (Equipment/Tag) across the project lifecycle, from Pre-FEED, Design, Construction and Commissioning through handover to Operations.Design and maintain Engineering Asset Register specifications for Greenfield and Brownfield projects, covering Upstream and Downstream facility requirements.Own the Asset Register template and specifications, aligning them with company IM data standards and the requirements of each business unit and project.Develop and maintain the Asset Register template in line with the Equipment Class Library (ECL) and company data standards (CFIHOS).Define extended equipment classes and engineering attributes in the Asset Register template so data deliverables support a seamless handover from MCP to Operations.Work with EPC Contractors and Vendors to give clear guidance on engineering data and document deliverables at each project phase, in support of the company's Digital Twin requirements.Oversee EPC contractor tag allocation, data management processes and tools (AVEVA, SPI, SPPID, PDMS, etc.) to ensure data quality, integrity and completeness.Maintain tag numbers, tag-to-document associations, Parent/Child tag relationships, Connected From/Connected To tags, and engineering attributes in the Asset Register system.Design and develop a tag lifecycle management workflow that keeps tag status accurate across MCP phases (Active, Inactive, Temporary, Future, Deleted, Decommissioned).Design and implement a data validation process based on defined business rules to keep data quality and integrity consistent throughout the project lifecycle.Analyze and compare equipment and tag data from multiple sources, producing data analysis reports to identify and resolve gaps early in the project.Generate data reconciliation and comparison reports between company and EPC data management systems to identify and address discrepancies.Track and drive asset data completeness to support closure of purchase orders, contracts and project scope, ensuring readiness for transition to Operations.Perform data audits, evaluate the impact of findings on project deliverables and facility operations, and guide stakeholders to address and mitigate data gaps.Provide consultation and training to project engineering teams across all disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, etc.) on asset data requirements and their implementation.Engage proactively with the on-site Information Management team and Data Analysts to coordinate and support asset data processes, queries and issues.Safety and ComplianceLead by example in safety and environmental protection; use Stop Work Authority as needed and help identify, eliminate or mitigate hazards.Contribute to the safety, health and environment program, reliability and efficiency to achieve world-class performance.Participate actively in the safety program, including behavior-based safety tasks and compliance training.Attend safety meetings, report potentially dangerous incidents and unsafe conditions, and take action to prevent incidents.Ensure the security of company property and information within the area of responsibility.Ensure IM handover activities comply with corporate infrastructure, technology, application and information standards.QualificationsRequired4-year degree in Information Technology or Engineering.At least 5 years of experience in an analogous position.Strong knowledge and experience understanding and analyzing information sources and flows.Experience with engineering redline and as-building processes in support of Operations and Reliability.Advanced user of Microsoft Office;
