Data Discovery and Enrichment Expert IIElsevier is hiring a Data Discovery and Enrichment Expert II to support the evaluation and quality assurance of Generative AI products within its Academic & Government division. This role focuses on ensuring AI systems used in research workflows are accurate, reliable, fair, and aligned with Responsible AI principles.You will contribute to the evaluation of AI-driven research tools such as LeapSpace, helping assess model outputs, improve evaluation frameworks, and generate insights that guide product development. The role involves close collaboration with data scientists, product managers, and cross-functional teams.Key responsibilities include:Supporting the design and execution of GenAI evaluation processesAnalyzing model performance and contributing to insights and recommendationsEnsuring AI outputs meet standards for accuracy, fairness, and transparencyAssisting in data collection, evaluation metrics, and experimental designCommunicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersSupporting continuous improvement of evaluation frameworks and processesRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related fieldSome experience or internship exposure in data analysis or AI/ML evaluation preferredBasic understanding of Responsible AI principlesStrong analytical, communication, and teamwork skillsInterest in research, publishing, or academic workflows is a plusLocation: Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid/Flexible working options)Salary: €71,700 – €119,600
