Data Engineer – AWS & Snowflake | HCMC

Position: Senior Data Engineer (Good English)Location: Ftown, District 9, Ho Chi Minh CityJob Description

• Develop and optimize enterprise-grade data pipelines on AWS, enabling scalable batch and real-time data processing
• Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration workflows using AWS cloud-native services.
• Develop data solutions using AWS Glue, S3, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources into enterprise data platforms.
• Design and maintain Data Lake and Data Warehouse solutions to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.
• Develop scalable data models and ensure data quality, consistency, reliability, and availability.
• Support Data Fabric initiatives including data integration, metadata, lineage, catalog, and data governance.
• Develop API and event-driven data integration solutions where required.
• Implement CI/CD and DataOps practices to automate testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve data platform reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, Business Analysts, Data Scientists, and international stakeholders to deliver end-to-end data solutions. Job Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related fields.
• Have 3+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, with hands-on experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, analysis, and optimization.
• Good programming skills in Python and PySpark for data processing, automation, and large-scale distributed data processing.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, especially S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, and preferably EMR, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
• Solid experience with ETL/ELT, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and data modeling.
• Understanding of Data Fabric, data integration, metadata, data lineage, and data governance concepts.
• Familiarity with API integration and event-driven architecture is a plus.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and DataOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good ownership of assigned tasks.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
