Data Engineer

Job Responsibilities:Assist in building data ingestion, transformation, and integration pipelines using Azure data engineering toolsDevelop basic ETL/ELT components under the guidance of senior team membersSupport the creation and maintenance of data lakes, data warehouses, and analytical datasetsWrite SQL queries and simple PySpark/Python scripts for data processingSupport data validation, data quality checks, and data profiling activitiesParticipate in loading, formatting, and transforming structured and semi-structured dataContribute to resolving pipeline or data issues through troubleshootingAssist in documentation, requirement understanding, sprint tasks, and solution walkthroughsLearn and adopt best practices in data engineering, cloud security, and performance optimizationWork collaboratively within a team-oriented environment, participating in discussions and technical brainstormsJob Qualifications:A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalentRelevant Azure Certifications (Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900), Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)1-3 years of experience in data engineering, data integration, data analytics, or cloud technologiesHands-on exposure to Azure data platform services and enterprise data engineering conceptsExposure to Azure Databricks or Spark-based processingUnderstanding of Microsoft Purview or other data governance toolsExperience with Power BI datasets or dataflows (academic or project-based is acceptable)Basic exposure to data quality or data profiling toolsAwareness of AI/ML workloads, data preparation for analytics, or Azure OpenAI concepts (not mandatory)
