Data Engineer

Job OverviewWe are seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing data pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and governance, and delivering reliable, analytics-ready datasets across modern cloud-based data platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and workflows.Build and manage data ingestion solutions from ERP systems, APIs, databases, and external data sources.Develop and support data warehouse and Lakehouse architectures to enable efficient analytics and reporting.Implement batch and real-time data processing solutions using modern data engineering tools and frameworks.Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, security, and compliance across data platforms.Implement automation and CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows.Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, BI teams, and IT teams to understand and deliver data requirements.Support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives by providing clean, structured, and accessible data.Maintain technical documentation for data pipelines, integrations, and data models.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.3–7 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and transformation.Experience designing, developing, and optimizing ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines.Experience with Apache Spark (PySpark preferred).Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or similar technologies.Strong understanding of data warehousing, Lakehouse architecture, and data governance principles.Experience integrating data from multiple sources, including ERP systems, APIs, and relational databases.Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated data workflows.Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Pipelines, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, and OneLake, is highly preferred.Relevant cloud or data engineering certifications are a plus.
