About the CompanyWe're currently looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join a high-performing team delivering large-scale data solutions for a major enterprise programme.About the RoleThis is an opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, build scalable data pipelines, and play a key role in transforming how data is used across the business.ResponsibilitiesDesigning, developing and maintaining robust ETL/ELT data pipelines.Building scalable data solutions using modern cloud platforms.Working closely with Data Architects, Data Scientists and Business Analysts to deliver high-quality data products.Optimising data storage, performance and reliability across large datasets.Implementing data quality, governance and security best practices.Supporting the migration of legacy data platforms into modern cloud environments.QualificationsStrong commercial experience as a Data Engineer.Excellent SQL skills.Strong Python development experience.Experience building data pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Airflow or similar.Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP).Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.Experience working with large, complex datasets.Excellent stakeholder communication skills.Required SkillsMicrosoft Azure certifications.Experience with Spark or PySpark.Experience working in Agile environments.CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code exposure.Experience within Financial Services, Government or Consulting environments.Preferred SkillsTech StackPythonSQLAzureAzure Data FactoryDatabricksPySparkSynapseGitDevOpsPower BI (desirable)Pay range and compensation packageCompetitive day rate / salary.Long-term programme of work.Flexible hybrid working.Opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud and data transformation projects.Collaborative, highly technical team environment.Equal Opportunity StatementIf you're an experienced Data Engineer looking for your next challenge and would like to hear more, we'd love to speak with you.
