Our work spans internal products such as School Path, Talentz, ADA-related initiatives, and client-focused solutions where data plays a key role.Role Overview:We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer who can build and maintain scalable data workflows and create a strong data foundation across PriceSenz products and client initiatives.This is a highly execution-focused role for someone who can work across the end-to-end data lifecycle — from identifying and ingesting data from multiple sources to cleaning, transforming, modeling, and operationalizing it for downstream use.The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with messy datasets, improving data quality, creating repeatable workflows, and collaborating with engineering and product teams to build reliable and maintainable systems.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain end-to-end data workflows across multiple sourcesDesign and improve data models and data structuresPerform data ingestion, transformation, normalization, and enrichmentCreate matching and deduplication logic for data quality improvementImplement validation and quality checksBuild processes for refresh schedules, exception handling, and data governanceSupport data integration and operational workflows across internal products and client projectsWork with engineering and product teams to operationalize and maintain data systemsDocument data workflows, assumptions, and business rulesCore Qualifications:2-6 years of experience in Data Engineering or related hands-on data rolesStrong Python experienceStrong SQL experienceExperience handling multi-source datasetsExperience with data modeling and normalizationExperience with data quality, matching, and deduplicationStrong problem-solving and ownership mindsetAbility to work in fast-moving environmentsPreferred:Experience with cloud data platformsExperience with BI toolsExperience with workflow automationExperience in startup or product environmentsPriceSenz is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
