About the job📍 Melbourne based 💼 Contract, Data Engineering, Financial Services ⏳ 6 months initiallyFinance | Data Engineering | Data PlatformsThis is an opportunity to support a financial systems transformation project, migrating financial data into a data lake and building the foundations for financial reporting.This is a hands-on, delivery-focused Data Engineer role for someone who can work independently on a tight timeline and move work forward without needing to be chased.You will join a financial systems transformation initiative, helping build the data foundations that centralised financial reporting will run on.Where do you come in?You are hands-on with Azure and comfortable owning data pipeline and platform work end to end.You have worked with financial modelling or financial reporting data before, and you understand what "good" looks like when reporting is built off a centralised data source.You can explain your previous technical delivery clearly, and you are proactive by nature, someone who moves the work forward rather than waiting to be told what's next.The Challenge & OpportunityThis role sits inside a tight-timeline financial systems transformation project.
