You will contribute to the development of robust data ingestion processes, data transformation workflows, and automated quality controls.You will also help turn prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions into reliable, production-ready systems, contributing to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure and engineering practices.This is an exciting opportunity for a data develop, test, and maintain scalable data architectures, pipelines, and cloud-based data warehouses.Build and optimise ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines to support analytics, reporting, and data science initiatives.Collaborate with Data Scientists and other technical teams to provide high-quality, accessible data for modelling and analysis.Implement automated data quality checks and statistical validation processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, validate datasets, and support data-driven decision-making.Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions, helping transition them into scalable, production-ready applications.Design and maintain efficient data models, optimising performance, scalability, and maintainability.Work with cloud platforms and modern data warehouse technologies to build and improve data infrastructure.Apply version control, automated testing, and CI/CD practices to ensure reliable and repeatable data deployments.Develop and maintain APIs and integrations where required to support data exchange between systems.Produce technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings and solutions clearly.Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions.Follow best practices for data governance, security, compliance, and documentation.🎯 Requirements3–5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.Strong proficiency in Python, including libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, data manipulation, and performance optimisation.Proven experience designing and implementing efficient data models.Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Experience with cloud-based data warehouses or platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.Proficiency with Git and collaborative software development workflows.Understanding of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to data quality and detail.Ability to collaborate effectively with Data Scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.⭐ Desirable SkillsExperience with Snowflake Marketplace and external data integrations.Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and containerised application environments.Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.Experience building, deploying, and maintaining APIs.Knowledge of data governance, data certification, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance best practices.Familiarity with machine learning workflows and data preparation for predictive modelling.Experience working with large-scale datasets and
