Data Engineer

What You’ll Do

Build and optimise data pipelines and data martsDeliver high-quality, reliable data for business insightWork closely with stakeholders to ensure a single version of the truthDesign & maintain data flows and acquisition processesDevelop scalable, high-performance data martsEnhance and support SQL-based applicationsContribute to data warehouse development and optimisationEnsure strong data governance (quality, security, availability, performance)Troubleshoot and resolve data issues efficientlyDeliver end-to-end data requests for stakeholdersIdentify data risks and recommend solutionsCollaborate across teams to improve business decision-makingRequired experience:Strong analytical and investigative mindsetExperience with SQL and SASExposure to data warehousing or BI environmentsAbility to interpret data and provide actionable insightsExcellent communication skills with non-technical stakeholdersStrong organisation and time management skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to data accuracyAdvanced Excel skillsA proactive, “can-do” attitude in a fast-paced environmentNice to HaveSAS ViyaJiraMicrosoft FabricGitHubExperience in Insurance or Financial ServicesEvidence of technical learning and developmentSTEM degree (or equivalent experience)For more information get in touch asap
