Tailor my CV for this job — freeAre you an enthusiastic Data Engineer looking to develop your technical skills and progress your career?We're working with an established organisation undergoing an exciting period of technology transformation, looking for a Data Engineer to join its collaborative and supportive data team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with approximately 2–3 years' experience who wants to gain exposure to new technologies, contribute ideas and develop their career.The RoleYou'll be joining a team of nine, working across data engineering, reporting and transformation initiatives.Responsibilities will include:Developing, maintaining and improving data processes and workflows.Working with SQL and existing SAS-based data environments.Supporting data quality, transformation and reporting activities.Contributing to technology modernisation initiatives, including the longer-term transition towards Microsoft Fabric.Collaborating with colleagues across technical and business teams.Identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation and emerging technologies.What We're Looking ForApproximately 2–3 years' experience in data engineering or a related technical role.Good working knowledge of SQL.Experience with SAS, Microsoft Fabric, ETL or modern data technologies would be advantageous.An adaptable approach and enthusiasm for learning new technologies.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.An interest in data innovation, automation and emerging AI technologies.What's On OfferExcellent opportunities for career progression and development.A collaborative team with regular knowledge-sharing sessions.Exposure to significant technology transformation projects.Opportunities to develop skills in Microsoft Fabric and modern data engineering.Potential progression into senior data engineering, analytics or management positions.
