As part of its ongoing data and analytics transformation, the company is investing heavily in modern data platforms to support Finance, Leasing and business reporting functions. They are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to drive data-driven decision-making through scalable data solutions and business intelligence capabilities.Your new role Build and maintain end-to-end data solutions, transforming raw data into actionable business insightsDesign, develop and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks, PySpark and SQLCreate and maintain data warehouses, data marts and semantic data models to support enterprise reporting needsDevelop and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for Finance, Leasing and business stakeholdersPartner closely with business users to gather requirements, define KPIs and translate business needs into technical solutionsEnsure data quality, governance and accuracy through validation, monitoring and performance optimizationSupport the full project life cycle, including data ingestion, transformation, testing, deployment and production supportTroubleshoot data issues, conduct root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the data platformCollaborate with internal stakeholders across Finance, Leasing, IT and business teams to deliver strategic analytics solutionsWhat you'll need to succeed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics or a related discipline3+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering or Data Warehouse developmentStrong hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL and Power BIProven experience delivering end-to-end data projects from data ingestion and ETL development through to reporting and deploymentExperience building enterprise-scale data pipelines, integration frameworks and dimensional data modelsStrong understanding of data warehousing, data modelling and business intelligence best practicesExperience supporting Finance, Leasing, Commercial or Operational reporting functions would be highly advantageousSolid knowledge of data governance, data quality and performance optimizationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures is highly preferred.What you'll get in return Join a stable and well-established organisation with long-term digital transformation initiativesOpportunity to work on enterprise-scale data and analytics projects with direct business impactExposure to modern cloud data technologies, including Databricks and Power BIClose partnership with finance and business stakeholders, providing strong commercial exposureCompetitive compensation package and comprehensive employee benefitsClear career progression opportunities within a growing Data & Analytics function What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
