Data Engineer - Investment Management Firm

You are joining at a pivotal moment as the business builds out its next generation data platform, and you are one of the people shaping what that looks like.Day to day you are designing and building data pipelines and integrations, working closely with stakeholders across the business to understand what they need and translating that into robust, scalable solutions. You are working with Snowflake, Python, and SQL across a modern stack, and you are not just executing someone else's vision. You are contributing to decisions about the architecture and the technologies the team adopts going forward.Because this is a senior seat, you have real autonomy. You set direction, mentor those around you, and take ownership of the work end to end. The environment is agile and the people around you are engaged and technically sharp, so you will have good conversations and real collaboration rather than working in a silo.You bring strong hands-on experience across data engineering, with solid SQL and Snowflake knowledge alongside Python. You have built data pipelines and platforms before and you know how to engage with stakeholders in a way that builds trust.
