Data Engineer (Talend ETL)

MYFutureJobs is currently supporting one of our clients in Putrajaya in sourcing qualified and competent Data Engineer (Talend ETL) candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain ETL/data integration pipelines using TalendExtract, transform, cleanse, and load data from multiple systems and databasesPerform MySQL database analysis, data extraction, schema review, and query optimizationTroubleshoot and resolve data quality, performance, and connectivity issues across data pipelinesSupport integration between databases and BI/reporting platforms such as Tableau ServerInvestigate and resolve authentication, access, and network-related data connectivity issuesCollaborate with technical teams to support data integration requirements for web-based applicationsProvide occasional support for WordPress/PHP systems, including debugging and data-related integrations

Requirements

3–4 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining Talend ETL/Data PipelinesStrong knowledge of MySQL, including database structures, query optimization, and data extractionExperience managing large, complex, and multi-source datasetsStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify root causes effectivelyAbility to work independently and manage technical issues from investigation to resolutionBasic to intermediate knowledge of PHP and WordPressNice to Have : Experience with Tableau or other BI/Reporting toolsKnowledge of Linux environments (Ubuntu/Nginx)Exposure to SSL, certificates, and server connectivity managementExperience with REST APIs, Web Services, or custom PHP plugin integrationsOnly shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the hiring process.
