If you're passionate about data engineering, modern data platforms, and building scalable, trusted data ecosystems, we'd love to hear from you.As Data Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for building and operating the bank's data platform, lakehouse architecture, streaming pipelines, and AI data supply chain. Working closely with Data Architecture, AI Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and Technology teams, you'll play a key role in creating the trusted data foundation that powers analytics, AI, regulatory reporting, and business decision-making from day one. Responsibilities• Lead the design, build, and operation of the bank's cloud-based data platform, lakehouse architecture, and data pipelines. • Deliver and manage batch, streaming, and CDC ingestion pipelines from core banking, payments, treasury, and enterprise systems. • Build and operate AI data pipelines, including feature engineering, vector pipelines, retrieval datasets, and training data production. • Establish engineering standards across DataOps, CI/CD, testing, observability, and AI-assisted development practices. • Implement data quality controls, governance standards, lineage, and metadata management within pipelines. • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing data engineering team while managing platform consumption and FinOps activities. Requirements• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, including leadership responsibility and team management. • Strong hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as Databricks, Azure, AWS, or equivalent lakehouse technologies. • Experience building and operating streaming, CDC, and enterprise-scale data pipelines within production environments. • Strong understanding of DataOps, CI/CD, automated testing, data quality, and observability practices. • Experience supporting AI, machine learning, feature engineering, vector databases, or AI data supply chains. • Experience working within banking, financial services, fintech, or another highly regulated environment.
