Role: Data Governance & Privacy SpecialistLocation: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)Duration: 12months (Possible Extension/Conversion)Have 5+ years’ experience in data governance, privacy, compliance, operational risk, or business analysis—ideally in a large financial institution.Manage cross-border data transfer assessments and clearances end-to-end.Understand data privacy, data residency, regulatory requirements, consent, and lawful data-transfer mechanisms.Execute controls, identify gaps, perform root-cause analysis, and drive remediation.Work with multiple stakeholders across Data Office, Risk, Audit, Quality Assurance, and Data Transfer teams.Be strong in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Most importantly, be able to streamline/automate a manual CBDC process using AI.Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
