Apply & track with Apply EdgeThe job holder is responsible for supporting the design, development and implementation of Data Governance as part of the the bank and will be accountable for alignment with business objectives with regards to how data is managed across the organization. The job holder will be a key member of the broader data management group across the organization and is expected to play an important role in influencing and providing direction to the wider data management community.Preferred QualificationsBanking or Financial Services experience is mandatory.Experience within Group Risk, Group Finance, Enterprise Data Management, or Regulatory Reporting functions.Certification in DCAM, DAMA, CDMP, or Data Governance platforms is preferred.Experience supporting large-scale data transformation or regulatory programs.Core responsibilitiesBanking Risk & Financial Reporting ExpertiseDemonstrate a strong understanding of risk reporting frameworks including Market Risk, Credit Risk, IFRS 9, Basel requirements, stress testing, capital adequacy, and liquidity reporting. Possess working knowledge of financial reporting processes including General Ledger, Financial Statements, Management Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, and Performance Reporting.Collaborate with Risk and Finance stakeholders to document business definitions, reporting calculations, data sourcing, and transformation logic.Support data governance initiatives related to BCBS 239, IFRS, Basel, and other regulatory obligations.
