Data Management, Specialist

Master Works is seeking a Data Management, Specialist to support the effective management, governance, and continuous improvement of organizational data. The role will support data management initiatives, assess compliance with data-related requirements, and contribute to projects that enhance data quality, governance, accessibility, and overall data management practices. The Ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure data is managed effectively and in alignment with organizational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation and continuous improvement of data management practices and frameworksSupport and coordinate data management projects and initiatives across the organizationDevelop, maintain, and implement data management policies, procedures, standards, and guidelinesAssess compliance with applicable data management requirements, policies, and controlsPrepare compliance assessments, reports, findings, and recommendationsSupport data governance activities and promote effective data management practices across business functionsCollaborate with business, IT, and data stakeholders to identify and address data management requirements and issuesSupport initiatives related to data quality, data governance, metadata, data classification, and data lifecycle managementMonitor data management activities and support the identification and resolution of data-related issuesPrepare and present data management reports, updates, and recommendations to relevant stakeholdersBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support data management initiativesStay up to date with data management standards, frameworks, and industry best practicesRequirementsEducationBachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related fieldExperience5+ years of relevant experience in data management, data governance, or a related fieldExperience in project management and delivering data-related initiativesPractical experience and strong knowledge of data management principles, processes, and practicesExperience in compliance assessment, monitoring, and reportingKnowledge & SkillsStrong knowledge of data management and data governance conceptsGood understanding of data management processes, standards, and frameworksKnowledge of data quality, metadata, data classification, data governance, and data lifecycle managementAbility to assess compliance against data-related requirements, policies, and controlsStrong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to translate findings into clear recommendationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong ability to build and maintain effective working relationshipsGood project management, organizational, and problem-solving skillsCertificationsCertified Data Management Professional (CDMP) Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) Location: Client Site
