Enterprise Data Migration Lead (SAP) - Dubai, UAELocation: Dubai, UAE (On-site)Target Start data: ImmediateSalary: Competitive salary package with benefitsAbout the CompanyOur client is an established holding company in Dubai and is seeking an experienced Data Migration Lead to own and execute a long term legacy system transformation.About the RoleThis role requires a hands-on technical lead capable of extracting, mapping, and cleansing legacy ERP database structures and managing automated load cycles into a modern, next-generation enterprise platform.ResponsibilitiesDefine the end-to-end migration framework, data cleansing protocols, field-level mapping rules, and validation guidelines across multiple group entities.Collaborate with database administrators to query, profile, and sanitize legacy core database structures (Financials, Supply Chain, and HR).Lead end-to-end loading cycles including mock runs and cutover deployment utilizing automated migration tools, transformation software, or specialized ETL frameworks.Build automated reconciliation mechanisms to audit data integrity, completeness, and accuracy between source and target systems.Partner with external implementation vendors and internal stakeholders to validate target data models and secure formal cutover sign-offs.Qualifications8+ years of dedicated data migration leadership, specifically driving large-scale migrations from legacy enterprise platforms (e.g., Oracle EBS R12) to modern cloud/ERP platforms.Advanced SQL expertise, deep familiarity with core legacy business module schemas (FIN, SCM, HCM), and strong functional knowledge of modern ERP data models.Direct experience with enterprise ETL/data tools (e.g., migration cockpits, data transformation platforms, or specialized ETL toolsets).Exceptional analytical mindset with the communication skills needed to drive business data ownership and direct technical teams.Required SkillsAdvanced SQL expertiseDeep familiarity with core legacy business module schemas (FIN, SCM, HCM)Strong functional knowledge of modern ERP data modelsDirect experience with enterprise ETL/data toolsExceptional analytical mindsetStrong communication skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with migration cockpitsExperience with data transformation platformsExperience with specialized ETL toolsets
