Job SummaryWe are seeking a Data Modeler to design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support enterprise data platforms, analytics, and governance initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong data modeling expertise, data warehousing knowledge, and hands-on experience with at least one modern data platform such as Informatica IDMC, Microsoft Fabric & Purview, or Databricks.Must Have4-5 years of experience in Data Modeling and Data ArchitectureStrong understanding of Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data ModelingExperience in Data Warehouse and Dimensional Modeling (Star and Snowflake Schemas)Strong SQL and database design fundamentalsKnowledge of normalization, denormalization, and data modeling best practicesExperience with data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or equivalentHands-on experience with at least one of the following platforms: Informatica IDMC, Microsoft Fabric & Purview, or Databricks.Understanding of Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Data Catalog, and Data Governance conceptsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skillsGood to HaveKnowledge of Data Vault, Kimball, and Inmon methodologiesExposure to MDM, Data Governance, and Enterprise Data Management initiativesExperience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)Python or PySpark experienceUnderstanding of modern Lakehouse architecturesKey ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data modelsDevelop data standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practicesCollaborate with business, data engineering, and architecture teams to define data requirementsSupport enterprise data governance, metadata, and analytics initiativesMaintain data model repositories, metadata, and related documentationPerform impact analysis and ensure scalability and consistency of data models across platformsPreferred CertificationsCertified Data Management Professional (CDMP)DCAMErwin Data Modeler CertificationMicrosoft Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
