Data Privacy & Governance Consultant

About Position:We are looking for a Digital Trust Consultant to support organizations in building and strengthening privacy, compliance, governance, and AI governance programs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with privacy management platforms such as OneTrust, Securiti.ai, TrustArc, and BigID, along with a strong understanding of global privacy regulations and governance frameworks. In this role, you will help clients implement privacy technologies, conduct compliance assessments, manage privacy operations, support data governance initiatives, and establish controls that align with regulatory and business requirements. You will collaborate with legal, security, risk, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver effective Digital Trust solutions.Role: Data Privacy & Governance Consultant

What You'll Do

Conduct privacy, compliance, and AI governance assessments aligned with regulations such as GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA, and emerging global privacy frameworks.Support implementation, configuration, and administration of privacy management platforms including OneTrust, Securiti.ai, TrustArc, and BigID.Perform data discovery, classification, inventory management, and data mapping activities.Maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and support privacy documentation initiatives.Manage consent management, cookie compliance, and user preference management processes.Support Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) workflows and privacy rights management activities.Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), Privacy Impact Assessments, and AI Impact Assessments.Support Privacy by Design (PbD) reviews across applications, cloud environments, and business processes.Execute vendor risk assessments and third-party privacy reviews.Identify privacy and compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.Assist in developing privacy policies, governance standards, procedures, and compliance frameworks.Collaborate with legal, security, risk, engineering, and business teams to establish governance controls.Support AI governance initiatives related to Responsible AI, model governance, and regulatory compliance.Prepare reports, dashboards, compliance documentation, and audit artifacts.Participate in client workshops, assessments, training sessions, and governance reviews.Expertise You'll Bring:2-5 years of experience in Data Privacy, Digital Trust, Compliance, Data Governance, or GRC domains.Hands-on experience with OneTrust, Securiti.ai, TrustArc, BigID, or similar privacy management platforms.Strong understanding of data privacy regulations including GDPR, DPDPA, CCPA, and related regulatory frameworks.Experience conducting privacy assessments and compliance reviews.Knowledge of data discovery, data classification, data inventory, and data governance programs.Experience managing consent management and privacy operations processes.Hands-on experience with DSAR workflows and Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).Understanding of Privacy by Design principles and privacy risk management practices.Experience performing DPIAs and other privacy impact assessments.Knowledge of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) principles and compliance monitoring.Understanding of vendor risk management and third-party assessments.Familiarity with Responsible AI, AI Governance, model risk management, and AI compliance requirements.Ability to translate regulatory requirements into business and technology controls.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment capabilities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and client teams.Strong documentation, presentation, and reporting skills.High attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity.
