This is an exciting opportunity for an experiences privacy professional to support data protection compliance across the UK, Republic of Ireland and France/Europe, helping to drive a privacy-first culture while ensuring compliance with GDPR and related legislation.What You'll Be DoingAs part of the EMEA Data Privacy & Protection team, you'll play a key role in supporting day-to-day privacy operations, working closely with stakeholders across the business to maintain and enhance our compliance framework.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting Data Protection compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.Maintaining Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).Managing privacy management systems, including OneTrust or similar platforms.Supporting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and data mapping activities.Managing Data Subject Requests (DSRs) and ensuring regulatory deadlines are met.Supporting consent management, data retention and deletion programmes.Conducting vendor privacy risk assessments and reviewing Data Processing Agreements.Supporting International Data Transfer Assessments.Assisting with personal data breach management and security incident coordination.Delivering privacy awareness support and helping embed a privacy-first culture across the organisation.Responding to privacy-related queries from stakeholders across the business.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who combines strong subject matter knowledge with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Essential experience includes:Good experience working with GDPR and data privacy legislation.Good understanding of the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.Experience using privacy management platforms such as OneTrust.Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.Ability to analyse and interpret data from multiple systems.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.Experience using project management tools or similar.Fluency in English is essential.About YouYou'll thrive in this role if you are:Self-motivated and proactive.Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.A strong relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills.Detail-oriented with a passion for compliance and continuous improvement.Adaptable, organised and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.Committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and confidentiality.This is an opportunity to join a supportive, collaborative team where you'll gain exposure to a broad range of national and international privacy/data protection activities while contributing to meaningful compliance initiatives.If you're looking to further develop your career in data privacy and enjoy working in a dynamic, people-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
