The platform supports key workflows such as privacy impact assessments (PIA), data subject access requests (DSAR), and asset discovery. Role Description The Data Privacy Analyst is a full-time remote role. In this role, the analyst reviews and interprets data privacy regulations, supports the development and maintenance of privacy policies, and assesses privacy risks for client environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting haps assessment, privacy impact assessments, analyzing data flows and asset inventories, and identifying potential privacy issues across systems and processes. The analyst collaborates with internal teams and clients to recommend controls, document compliance measures, and support DSAR handling and related privacy operations. The role also involves preparing reports, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to continuous improvement of PrivacyShield’s privacy management solutions.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong knowledge of privacy regulations and experience with privacy compliance activities.Candidates should possess skills in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining privacy policies and related documentation.Candidates should possess analytical skills to identify, assess, and prioritize privacy issues and risks.Candidates should possess the ability to interpret technical and business processes through a privacy lens and communicate findings clearly.Relevant experience with data protection frameworks (such as DPDP, GDPR, CCPA, or similar), risk assessment, or compliance operations.Bachelor’s degree in law, information systems, cybersecurity, data privacy, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.Attention to detail, discretion in handling sensitive information, and a commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory practices.CIPP certification
