Job Title : Assistant Manager – Data PrivacyLocation: MumbaiExperience: 6 + YearsIndustry: BFSI / Financial Services / Capital Markets preferredWe are looking for a Data Privacy professional who can help ensure that personal and sensitive data is handled safely and according to applicable privacy regulations.Key Responsibilities : Ensure company processes follow applicable Data Privacy and Data Protection regulations.Create and maintain privacy policies, procedures and guidelines.Conduct Privacy Risk Assessments and DPIAs for new projects and systems.Maintain data inventories and records of data processing activities.Support data retention, consent management and individual data-rights processes.Monitor changes in privacy laws and assess their impact.Support privacy audits and compliance reviews.Assist with data privacy incidents and breach investigations.Review privacy controls of vendors and third-party service providers.Work with Legal, Compliance, Information Security, Technology and Business teams.Conduct employee awareness and training on Data Privacy and Data Protection.Candidate Profile6+ years of experience in Data Privacy, Data Protection, Privacy Compliance, Information Security, Risk or GRC.Hands-on experience in Privacy Assessments, Privacy Compliance and Privacy Governance.Experience in Banking, Insurance, NBFC, Capital Markets, Stock Exchange or FinTech will be preferred.Good understanding of Data Privacy and Data Protection regulations.Strong communication and coordination skills.Interested candidates can share their updated CV at cv.hr@evokehr.com or connect with me for more details.
