Data Product Lead – Palantir Foundry (Investment Portfolio)

We are looking for a Data Product Lead for our client, a leading a large investment organization to work with its portfolio operations and intelligence team.You will turn data from across a diverse investment portfolio into products that drive decisions. You will build pipelines and dashboards in Palantir Foundry, and you will redesign the processes and governance behind them.This is 6 month contract role and will be onsite in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Map current processes and design better ones, including RACI matrices and operating models, to cut cost and improve efficiency across the portfolioFind value opportunities in data, analytics, automation and AI, then build the business cases, success metrics and roadmaps for themOwn data and analytics products from concept to adoption: vision, requirements, backlog and delivery prioritiesDesign, build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, dashboards and KPI frameworksWrite and optimise production-grade SQL, Python and PySparkBuild prototypes, POCs and MVPs for automation, machine learning and GenAI use casesRun workshops and discovery sessions with senior executives, and present insights, risks and realised valueSet standards for data quality, documentation, testing, security and AI governanceKnowledge, skills & experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative field6–8 years' experience in data engineering, data product development, applied AI, or strategy and technology consultingHands-on Palantir Foundry experience (Pipeline Builder, Ontology, Workshop, Code Repositories); strong Databricks / Spark / Azure backgrounds will also be consideredStrong Python, SQL, PL/SQL and Spark, plus data modelling and scalable solution designBusiness analysis skills: process mapping, RACI, operating model design and business case developmentAn understanding of how investment funds work; exposure to sovereign wealth funds, private equity or asset owners is a strong advantageA track record of personally taking a problem through to a production-grade productWorking knowledge of APIs, orchestration, data governance, lineage, master data and responsible AIConfident with senior business stakeholders and cross-functional technical teamsAvailability:Preference will be given to candidates available to join immediately.We are looking for a candidate who will be able to work in the United Arab Emirates.
