Data Protection & Privacy Consultant📍 London - Hybrid (minimum 2 days in office)💰 Competitive salary + benefitsWe’re looking for an experienced Data Protection & Privacy Consultant to join a growing team and support a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple sectors.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on privacy operations with client-facing consultancy, helping organisations navigate complex data protection challenges in a practical and commercially focused way.🔍 What you’ll be doingActing as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for clients on all data protection mattersSupporting and delivering privacy programmes, including DPIAs, LIAs, RoPAs, and data mappingIdentifying and managing data protection and cyber risksProviding pragmatic advice on UK GDPR and international privacy regulationsSupporting data breach response and regulatory compliance (including ICO engagement)Developing and implementing policies, governance frameworks, and privacy controlsDelivering training and awareness sessions to stakeholdersSupporting or acting as an outsourced DPO for clientsWorking with and configuring OneTrust (or similar privacy platforms)Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leadership✅ What we’re looking for~5+ years’ experience in data protection / privacy rolesStrong working knowledge of UK GDPR (and ideally EU/international frameworks)Hands-on experience with:DPIAs, LIAs, RoPAsData mapping & asset registersSupplier risk assessments & contractsIncident/breach management & DSARsIAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPM or equivalent)Experience with privacy management tools (OneTrust preferred)Comfortable working with clients and senior stakeholdersStrong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skillsA pragmatic, solutions-focused approachWhy apply?Work with a variety of clients across industriesBe part of a collaborative, specialist data protection teamOpportunity to grow your consultancy and advisory skillsExposure to cutting-edge topics including AI and privacy tech
