The company operates under the supervision and regulation of the Saudi Central Bank, ensuring high standards of trust, compliance, and reliability.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Protection Officer role based in Al Khobar. The Data Protection Officer will oversee data privacy practices, ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, and act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities. Daily responsibilities include drafting and maintaining privacy policies and procedures, monitoring adherence to data protection requirements, conducting risk assessments, and advising internal teams on privacy implications of new products and processes. The role involves handling data subject requests, leading privacy impact assessments, organizing staff training on data protection, and collaborating with legal, IT, security, and business stakeholders to embed privacy by design across the organization.Qualifications Strong expertise in Data Privacy and Privacy Compliance, with a track record of implementing and managing privacy programs.Solid understanding of Regulatory Compliance and Law, particularly in financial services, payments, and data protection frameworks.Ability to develop, review, and maintain clear and robust Privacy Policies and related internal guidelines.Experience with risk assessment, incident response, and data breach management in a regulated environment.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to advise senior leadership and operational teams.Relevant academic background in Law, Information Security, Compliance, or a related field; professional certifications in privacy or compliance (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) are an advantage.Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial for working with local regulations and stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment and maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality.
