Data Protection Specialist

Working with a Wealth & Investments Firm who are looking for a Data Protection Specialist to join their London team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong data protection and privacy experience who is looking to work across a broad range of financial services, including investment management, financial planning, pensions, and structured products.Key Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day data protection and privacy advice to the business across a range of products and functions.Support the development, review, and maintenance of data protection policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.Advise stakeholders on data protection requirements relating to new products, projects, processes, and business initiatives.Support the management of data protection risks, including data breaches, subject access requests, DPIAs, and other privacy matters.Monitor regulatory developments and support the implementation of changes to ensure ongoing compliance with UK data protection requirements.Key Requirements:Strong experience in data protection, privacy, or information governance within financial services.Good knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.Strong attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to start within a monthInterested?
