Data Science & Analytics Intern

Role OverviewWe are looking for a motivated Data Science & Analytics Intern to support the development of data-driven solutions for financial services applications. The role involves data analysis, Python-based automation, dashboard development, and integration of Machine Learning (ML) models to generate actionable business insights and improve operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and process structured and unstructured data to identify trends and insights.Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, and analysis.Assist in building and maintaining data pipelines and workflows.Support the integration of ML models into business applications and analytical workflows.Develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor key metrics and system performance.Work with databases and SQL to extract, transform, and analyze data.Support real-time data monitoring and reporting requirements.Assist with data validation, testing, documentation, and process optimization.Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.Required Technical SkillsBasic to intermediate proficiency in Python for data analysis and processing.Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, or similar platforms.Understanding of basic statistical concepts and data interpretation.Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts and model integration.Basic understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and ETL processes.Desired SkillsExposure to libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or similar.Familiarity with data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly.Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.Exposure to real-time data, time-series analysis, or streaming technologies such as Kafka.Interest in financial services, FinTech, automation, or regulatory technology.Academic projects or internship experience involving data science, analytics, or ML.Key CompetenciesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights.Attention to detail and a structured approach to analysis.Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.Effective communication and collaboration skills.Interest in process automation and data-driven decision-making.Internship DetailsPosition: Data Science & Analytics Intern
