Data Science Intern

DataMicron is a multi-award Big Data and AI company, with patented technologies in USA and China. We have extensive experience in developing products and full-scale solutions in the field of business intelligence, machine learning & AI, data engineering and front-end development. We have covered and implemented end-to-end Big Data Analytics solutions in eight countries across major public and private sector organizations, and are currently going through a large expansion in our business portfolio. We are currently looking for interns in the Data Science department. Key Responsibilities- Assist in collecting, cleaning, labelling, and pre-processing data from various sources.- Research on domain knowledge and assisting in setting up proof-of-concepts.- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.- Support the development and testing of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.- Participate in AI software development- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.- Participate in the creation of data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings.- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in data science and machine learning.Qualifications- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for data.- Experience with programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.- Familiarity with data analysis libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and visualization tools like Matplotlib or Seaborn.- Basic understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.- Preferably in their last semester.Preferred Qualifications- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.- Experience with version control systems like Git.- Exposure to big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.What We Offer- Hands-on experience with real-world data science projects.- Mentorship and training from experienced professionals in the field.- Opportunities to attend workshops, seminars, and conferences.- A collaborative and inclusive work environment.- Potential for full-time employment upon successful completion of the internship.
