Data Science Manager

Job overviewLead the R&D team in researching and developing core Deep Learning and Machine Learning models to address market forecasting and revenue optimization challenges through mathematical optimization for GSM’s mobility application. Key ResponsibilitiesResearch and design Deep Learning/ML architectures and solutions for large-scale prediction and forecasting tasks.Formulate and solve mathematical optimization problems to maximize revenue subject to market and operational constraints.Implement, train, and evaluate Deep Learning models.Package and deploy solutions to production to serve customers.Build, lead, and develop a team of R&D engineers and specialists; standardize MLOps processes and leverage large-scale data on Apache Doris and BigQuery.QualificationsEducation: A PhD or MSc in a field related to the foundations of Deep Learning/Machine Learning is required, with preference given to candidates with a strong foundational understanding.A solid mathematical foundation in linear algebra, probability and statistics, and optimization, together with strong analytical thinking.Proficiency in the building blocks of artificial neural network architectures, including vanilla feedforward neural networks (FNNs), CNNs, GNNs, and Transformers, as well as traditional Machine Learning methods.A strong theoretical understanding of Deep Learning concepts, including mathematical definitions, backpropagation, overfitting, adversarial robustness, data augmentation, and embeddings.Proficiency in Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, SQL, and Pandas, with a good understanding of cloud and big data technologies, including AWS, Apache Doris, and BigQuery.Experience deploying DL/ML models to production is an advantage but is not required.Ability to read and understand research papers from leading international conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, and ICLR.Ability to manage projects and lead technical teams.Why You’ll Love Working at VinSmart FutureNational-Scale Impact Contribute directly to technology platforms deployed across the Vingroup ecosystem, creating a meaningful impact on the experiences of tens of millions of users.Competitive Compensation and Benefits Receive competitive compensation based on your capabilities, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits in accordance with Vingroup policies.International Working Environment Work alongside local and international experts in an environment that encourages the use of English, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing.Apply via:Email: v.hanhtt41@vinsmartfuture.techFor more information, please contact the Talent Acquisition Department – VinSmartFuture.
