A global tech and Retail-Tech powerhouse, widely recognized as one of the world's most successful retail enterprises.The company’s Israeli R&D center drives high-impact technological innovations at the forefront of AI, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).The local R&D group develops cutting-edge Data Science & Generative AI solutions that directly impact millions of daily active users worldwide, enabling smarter, safer, and data-driven purchasing decisions.The company offers unmatched financial stability, deep technological challenges, and massive production-scale engineering.Located in central Tel Aviv (walking distance from the train station), operating on a hybrid work model with 2 days WFH per week.Role Description-Joining as a Data Science Team Lead (NLP / LLM focus), directly managing a team of 5 specialized Data Scientists.Combining hands-on algorithmic research and architectural design with people management, technical leadership, and strategic product direction.Leading the research, architecture, and production deployment of state-of-the-art NLP, Deep Learning, and Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities.Translating complex business challenges into production-grade ML models operating at massive global scale.Partnering cross-functionally with Product, R&D engineering, and global data teams to drive high-impact AI initiatives.Requirements-Strong, proven expertise and research focus in Natural Language Processing (NLP) – Mandatory2 years of experience leading or managing Data Science / ML teams – Mandatory5 years of hands-on experience researching and applying Machine Learning & Deep Learning solutions – MandatoryHands-on experience with LLM architectures, Fine-Tuning, Prompt Engineering, or RAG models – MandatoryStrong programming capabilities in Python – Mandatory (Java / C# / Scala – Advantage)Proven track record of deploying and maintaining Data Science / ML models in Production environments at scale – Mandatory
