About the RoleWe are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist with 4–5 years of professional experience in Data Science / Machine Learning to work on predictive solutions for real-world engineering problems.The role involves end-to-end ML and Deep Learning development, from data preparation and feature engineering through model development, validation and productionization. Experience with engineering/scientific datasets and exposure to physics-informed or hybrid ML approaches will be an advantage.Location: RemoteContract Duration: 7 MonthsStart Date: 1 September 2026Salary: NegotiableKey ResponsibilitiesTranslate business and engineering requirements into ML/DL solutions.Clean, prepare and analyze data from laboratory, field, simulation and structured sources.Develop, train, validate and compare Classical ML and Deep Learning models.Perform feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning and model optimization.Design robust train/validation/test strategies, including grouped and time-dependent data.Evaluate models using appropriate statistical, ML and engineering/business metrics.Work with domain experts and software teams on model integration and productionization.Support model deployment, monitoring, retraining and continuous improvement.Required Skills4–5 years of full-time professional experience in Data Science / Machine Learning.Strong hands-on experience with both Classical Machine Learning and Deep Learning.Strong Python programming skills.Good understanding of ML algorithms, Deep Learning and Neural Network fundamentals.Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation and hyperparameter tuning.Good working knowledge of SQL.Ability to work with small, noisy or heterogeneous datasets.
