As part of the continued growth of our analytics function, we are looking to appoint a Data Scientist to help transform complex data into actionable business insights.We are looking to hire a Data Scientist to work closely with senior data professionals and stakeholders across multiple business functions, developing predictive models and uncovering opportunities to improve business performance from our London office.The Data Scientist MUST have:• Commercial experience within Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Statistical Analysis, or a related field• Strong experience applying machine learning techniques to solve real-world business problems• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, modelling, and data manipulation• Experience working with large and complex datasetsThe Data Scientist will ideally have the following attributes:• A degree qualification (BSc, MSc, PhD etc.) in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or a similar discipline• Experience performing data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering• Strong understanding of statistical methods and model evaluation techniques• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders• Experience presenting insights and recommendations that influence business decisions• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP would be beneficial• Knowledge of Spark, Databricks, or other big data technologies would be advantageous• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualisation tools would be beneficial• Familiarity with MLOps, model deployment, or production environments would be advantageous• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)The Data Scientist role will involve:• Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities• Developing, testing, and optimising machine learning models to support business objectives• Cleaning, transforming, and preparing data for analysis and modelling• Ensuring data quality and integrity across multiple datasets• Translating analytical findings into practical business recommendations• Presenting insights and model outputs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges using data• Staying up to date with emerging data science techniques and industry best practicesIf you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and salary expectations.
