Data ScientistSalary up £60,000 + Benefits Hybrid | LondonWe've partnered with a large, established business to find a Data Scientist who will help translate complex data into insights that drive real commercial decisions.This is an organisation with significant scale and a growing focus on data and digital capability. You'll sit within a dedicated data function, working closely with a Senior Data Scientist and collaborating across engineering, product and business teams to build models that get used, not just presented.Responsibilities as a Data Scientist:Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns and anomalies across large datasetsBuild, refine and deploy machine learning models to solve business problemsPerform data cleaning, feature engineering and transformation to ensure data quality and model suitabilitySupport integration of models into business processes and operational systemsMonitor deployed model performance and recommend adjustments as neededWork with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data science solutionsCommunicate findings and model outputs clearly to non-technical stakeholdersRequirements:Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline2+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modelling or data scienceHands-on experience with Python, R or SQLProven experience with machine learning algorithms and data science methodologiesFamiliarity with cloud platforms, big data technologies and distributed computingExperience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plusStrong communication skills with the ability to present complex insights to non-technical audiencesWhy apply?:A business with real scale, where data science work has genuine commercial impactStructured support from a Senior Data Scientist with clear scope to growA team that invests in continuous learning and staying current with new tools and techniquesVaried problems across a complex, multi-site organisationLondon-based role within an established and expanding data functionIf you're a Data Scientist looking for a role with solid foundations, real data and room to develop, get in touch.
