Working within a highly collaborative data function, you'll help build data-driven products and machine learning solutions that directly influence customer experience, product development and commercial performance.The CompanyOur client is an international technology platform with a strong focus on innovation and data-driven decision-making. Data sits at the heart of the organisation, with significant investment in AI, experimentation and product development. The business is scaling its Decision Science capability and embedding data professionals closer to product teams to maximise business impact.The Role• Build and develop recommendation and personalisation models• Develop AI-powered products and customer-facing features• Apply machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems• Support experimentation through modelling, statistical testing and evaluation• Conduct feature engineering and feature analysis to improve model performance• Work closely with Product, Engineering and Analytics teams on high-impact initiatives• Build proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the value of AI and advanced analytics• Translate technical findings into actionable commercial recommendations• Help shape the future use of AI, machine learning and data products across the businessYour Skills & Experience• Commercial experience within Data Science, Machine Learning or a similar role• Strong Python and SQL skills• Experience building machine learning models in a production environment• Strong understanding of statistics, experimentation and hypothesis testing• Experience with recommendation systems, personalisation or predictive modelling is beneficial• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving capabilities• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-led environment• Interest in AI, LLMs and emerging technologiesWhat They Offer• Salary up to £90,000• Brighton-based hybrid working model, commutable from London• Office attendance currently 3 days per week, reducing to 2 days per week• Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and machine learning initiatives• Join a growing data team during a period of significant investment• High-impact role with strong exposure to product and commercial decision-making• Clear opportunities for career progression and development• Collaborative, innovative and highly data-driven cultureHow to ApplyIf you're excited by the opportunity to build impactful machine learning solutions within a product-focused environment, please apply with your CV.
