Data Scientist

We're working with a global healthcare communications and technology business that is growing its Medical Analytics & Innovation team.They are looking for a Data Scientist with strong experience across machine learning, NLP, generative AI and data engineering to help build real-world AI products within healthcare and life sciencesThis role would suit someone who enjoys going beyond analysis — building scalable tools, models and workflows that have practical client impact.You’ll be involved in:Delivering end-to-end data science projectsBuilding and optimising ML, NLP and AI solutionsWorking with LLM APIs, prompt design, RAG, vector search and GenAI platformsDesigning scalable data pipelines using structured and unstructured dataWorking with APIs, cloud platforms and modern data toolsCreating reusable frameworks and analytical productsThe ideal person will bring:Strong Python and SQL skillsExperience in data science, ML, AI, NLP or similarA degree in Statistics, Physics, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related fieldExperience deploying ML/NLP solutions into productionHands-on experience with LLMs/GenAI platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic or Azure OpenAICloud experience across AWS, Azure or GCPStrong communication skills across technical and non-technical teamsHealthcare, pharmaceutical or life sciences experience would be a bonus, but isn’t essential.Remote-first, flexible working, with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge GenAI projects that have meaningful real-world healthcare impact.
