Senior Data ScientistLondon - Hybrid We are working with a leading buy-side investment firm looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join its growing data and analytics function. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly commercial investment environment where data science plays an important role in shaping investment research, portfolio decisions and risk management.You will work directly with portfolio managers, investment professionals and senior stakeholders, using machine learning, statistical modelling and advanced analytics to solve complex, real-world investment problems. The role offers access to large financial and alternative datasets, with the opportunity to build models and analytical tools that have a visible impact on investment performance and decision-making.The firm is investing heavily in its modern Microsoft Azure platform, giving you the opportunity to build and deploy scalable, production-ready data science solutions using technologies such as Azure Machine Learning, Snowflake, Data Factory and Synapse. You will work closely with data engineers and technology teams to take models from initial research through to production, while contributing to the firm’s wider adoption of AI, machine learning and cloud-based analytics.
