LFX collaborates closely with these stakeholders to design, develop, and scale digital ventures that reshape how retail businesses operate and grow.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Data Scientist role based in Hong Kong SAR. The Data Scientist will work with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy data-driven solutions that optimize supply chain and retail operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting and cleaning data from multiple sources, performing exploratory data analysis, developing statistical and machine learning models, and creating clear visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights. The role also involves partnering with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate complex findings into practical recommendations and to support decision-making across digital ventures.Qualifications Strong skills in Data Science and Statistics, with the ability to build and validate predictive and analytical models.Proficiency in Data Analytics and Data Analysis, including working with large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights.Experience with Data Visualization tools and techniques to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.Hands-on experience with programming languages commonly used in data science (such as Python or R) and SQL.Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries, and cloud or big data platforms is beneficial.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment and communicate complex concepts in a clear, structured manner.Interest in supply chain, retail, and digital transformation; prior domain experience is an advantage.
