Data Scientist (ML & A/B Testing):Client Domain: Enterprise Retail & Digital CommerceLocation: Malmö, SwedenWork Model: Hybrid (2–3 days/week on-site)Assignment Allocation: 100% (Full-time / 37.5 hours per week)Language Requirement: English (Proficient)About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to design, build, and deploy machine learning models and experimentation frameworks that enhance customer experiences and drive digital retail performance.Working closely with engineering and product teams in Malmö, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of ML models—from hypothesis generation and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and production ML pipeline deployment.Key Responsibilities:Machine Learning Development: Design, train, and evaluate machine learning models (including Natural Language Processing / NLP models and predictive systems) for retail use cases.Experimentation & A/B Testing: Lead the design, execution, and statistical evaluation of A/B tests to measure product changes and algorithm efficacy.ML Pipelines & MLOps: Build, automate, and maintain robust ML training and inference pipelines in cloud environments.Cross-Functional Partnering: Work with Data Engineers and Software Developers to integrate ML models into production microservices and user interfaces.Candidate Profile & Qualifications:Core Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in Python, machine learning frameworks (Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch), and NLP libraries.Statistical Rigor: Deep background in statistical methodology, hypothesis testing, and A/B test design at scale.Pipeline Engineering: Proven experience building scalable ML pipelines and deploying models into production environments.Domain Experience: Experience applying data science in e-commerce, digital retail, or customer analytics contexts.Logistics: Located in or able to commute to Malmö, Sweden (2–3 days on-site per week).If you are interested, or you know someone that could be, please reach out and we can arrange a time to speak?
