Job Role: Senior Data ScientistExperience: 5+ YearsLocation: PuneWe are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to solve business problems using data, statistics, and machine learning. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Statistics, and Experimentation, along with the ability to turn data into meaningful business decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with business and product teams to understand problems and define measurable goals.Build and validate machine learning models for forecasting, classification, recommendations, or NLP.Design and analyze A/B tests and experiments to measure business impact.Apply statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support data-driven decisions.Develop data pipelines and perform data preparation and feature engineering.Work with Data Engineers and ML Engineers to move models into production.Monitor model performance, data quality, and analytical results.Present insights and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.Review technical work and mentor junior Data Scientists.Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience in Data Science / Applied Data Science.Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.Strong understanding of Statistics, Probability, and Hypothesis Testing.Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and model development.Experience with A/B Testing, Experimentation, or Causal Inference.Experience working with Data Pipelines and ETL.Understanding of production ML and model monitoring.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
