Senior Data ScientistLocation: Irving, TXExperience: 8+ YearsJob Type: Full-TimeJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our team in Irving, TX. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science and Machine Learning, with a strong background in predictive modeling, forecasting, statistical analysis, and production ML solutions.In this role, you will develop and deploy scalable machine learning models and advanced analytics solutions to support airline operations, customer experience, and revenue optimization. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to transform complex data into actionable insights and innovative AI solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, validate, and deploy machine learning models for business and operational use cases.Build predictive models for demand forecasting, revenue optimization, customer analytics, and operational efficiency.Perform statistical analysis, feature engineering, model evaluation, and experimentation.Develop scalable data science solutions using Python, SQL, and modern ML frameworks.Work with large datasets using Apache Spark and PySpark.Develop and maintain production-grade ML pipelines and support MLOps and model deployment.Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.Design and analyze A/B tests and controlled experiments to measure business impact.Create effective data visualizations and communicate complex analytical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.Leverage cloud platforms and modern data technologies to build scalable analytics and ML solutions.Stay current with emerging developments in Machine Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-driven analytics.Required Qualifications8+ years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.Strong programming experience in Python and SQL.Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and/or PyTorch.Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, predictive modeling, and statistical methods.Experience developing forecasting and time-series models.Strong experience with Spark/PySpark and large-scale data processing.Experience working with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.Experience with MLOps, model deployment, monitoring, and production ML pipelines.Strong knowledge of A/B testing, experimentation, and statistical analysis.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Databricks and Snowflake.Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).Experience in airline, travel, transportation, or revenue management domains.Experience with demand forecasting, pricing, revenue optimization, or customer analytics.Familiarity with modern data and ML engineering practices.Experience building scalable AI solutions from concept through production.What We’re Looking ForWe are looking for a strong problem solver who can bridge the gap between data, technology, and business outcomes.
