Campion Pickworth is partnering with a leading international professional services firm to hire a Data Scientist – Senior Consultant to join a high-performing Analytics & Data Science team.This is an opportunity to work at the forefront of Data Science, Machine Learning, Cloud Technologies and Generative AI, helping major organisations unlock value from their data and solve complex business challenges. You'll collaborate with talented specialists, work with modern technologies, and play a key role in delivering innovative solutions across a diverse project portfolioWhat You’ll Do:Develop and deploy advanced analytics, data science, machine learning and agentic ai solutions across a variety of use casesUse technologies such as Python, R, Azure, Databricks, SQL, Power BI, and Tableau to extract actionable insights from complex datasetsContribute to the design and implementation of scalable data science workflows and best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective analytical solutionsSupport multiple projects from exploration through to deployment within cloud-based environmentsMaintain high standards of code quality, documentation, and testing within a DevOps-oriented workflowApply strong knowledge of ML techniques, from supervised/unsupervised learning through to emerging methods in generative ai and large language modelsWhat We’re Looking For:Essential Skills & ExperienceProven experience solving complex, real-world problems using data science and analyticsStrong Python skills (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) with a solid grounding in probability and statisticsDeep understanding of machine learning methods and their practical applicationExperience delivering multiple end-to-end data science projects across varied data types and business domainsFamiliarity with DevOps practices and tools such as GitCloud experience (e.g., Azure, AWS) and working with ML platforms and servicesExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to align analytical outputs with broader business objectivesSomeone with 1-3 years of industry experienceDesirable SkillsExperience using R and NLP or deep learning techniques (e.g., TF-IDF, word embeddings, CNNs, RNNs)Familiarity with generative AI and prompt engineeringExperience with Azure Databricks, MLflow, Azure ML services, Docker, or KubernetesExperience working in large, complex organisations or regulated industries*This role is unable to provide sponsorship*
