For more information, visit www.tcs.com and follow TCS news at @TCS_News.Job Description:Job Title: Data Scientist (Semantic Modeling & AI Enablement)Experience: 8+ YearsRole OverviewWe are seeking experienced Data Scientists with strong expertise in semantic modeling, data product development, and AI-ready data architectures. The role will focus on designing and building semantic data models that can be seamlessly consumed by AI agents, analytics platforms, and business applications.The successful candidate will work closely with data engineering, AI, and business teams to define business KPIs, establish data relationships, and develop the semantic and SQL layers required to support intelligent data consumption. This is a strategic role that will continue beyond the current data products workstream, supporting the organization's long-term AI and analytics roadmap.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop enterprise semantic data models for AI, analytics, and business consumption.Define and implement business KPIs, metrics, dimensions, hierarchies, and data relationships.Build and maintain semantic and logical data layers to support AI agents, reporting, and advanced analytics use cases.Develop performant SQL-based semantic views and reusable data assets.Collaborate with data engineers to integrate semantic models with data products and enterprise data platforms.Work closely with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable semantic models.Ensure consistency, governance, and standardization of business definitions across data domains.Support AI initiatives by enabling structured and context-rich data consumption for AI and GenAI applications.Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and usability.Contribute to data architecture, data quality, and metadata management best practices.Required Skills & ExperienceTechnical SkillsStrong experience in Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.Experience working with Oracle databases and enterprise data platforms.Deep understanding of semantic modeling, dimensional modeling, and data product concepts.Hands-on experience defining and implementing business KPIs, measures, and metrics.Strong knowledge of relational and analytical data modeling techniques.Experience building semantic layers for BI, analytics, or AI-driven solutions.Familiarity with metadata management, data governance, and business glossaries.Understanding of AI/GenAI use cases and data consumption patterns for AI agents.Preferred SkillsExperience with large-scale data modernization and cloud data platforms.Exposure to RAG, Agentic AI, or enterprise AI solutions.Knowledge of Data Mesh and Data Product operating models.Experience working in Banking and Financial Services environments.Application Deadline: 8th-Oct-2026Privacy Note:https://www.tcs.com/connect-with-tcs/privacy-policy
