Data Scientist Lead - Gen AI/Network Services

About the roleWe are looking for a Data Scientist Lead - Gen AI - Network Services for a large global financial services organization.The role is focused on driving responsible AI adoption across Network Services, including AI use case intake, prioritization, delivery coordination, governance, and value realization. The person will work closely with infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, and central AI teams to identify AI opportunities, support execution, and ensure measurable business outcomes.ResponsibilitiesLead AI demand intake and prioritization across Network ServicesAssess AI use cases based on business value, feasibility, data readiness, and riskCoordinate delivery of AI capabilities across business, technology, and central AI teamsEnsure AI governance, compliance, and risk processes are followedSupport adoption of approved enterprise AI platforms, tools, and reusable patternsTrack success metrics, adoption, value, risks, and delivery progressMaintain visibility of the AI portfolio, including use cases, owners, dependencies, and statusSupport AI capability building within infrastructure and network teamsHelp drive continuous improvement of AI solutions based on feedback and outcomesProvide support for AI solutions in production together with SMEsRequirementsStrong experience in AI-enabled transformation, product delivery, or enterprise change leadershipExperience delivering AI or data-driven solutions from idea to implementation and adoptionExperience with Agentic AI solutions, preferably for infrastructure or operations teamsGood understanding of AI agents, LLMs, MCP, MLOps, and data / platform architectureBackground in network infrastructure, network operations, or enterprise infrastructure environmentsExperience working in large, matrixed organizations with multiple stakeholdersUnderstanding of governance, risk, compliance, and control requirementsStrong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skillsAbility to define KPIs, business outcomes, and value realization measuresExperience in financial services or another regulated industry would be a plusABOUT USSoftServe is a global IT consulting and digital services company where technology expertise grows alongside people. The range provided reflects the base salary only. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on some factors, including, but not limited to: geographic location, relevant experience, education, certifications, skills, budget, and market conditions.The anticipated salary range for this role is $140,000 – $220,000 annually, in line with our internal compensation framework and budget allocation for the role. Most candidates are offered a salary within this disclosed range.
