At Al-Qadsiah, you’ll play a key role in shaping our legacy, contributing to the nation’s sports vision, and making history every step of the way.Overview:As the Data Scientist at Al-Qadsiah Club, you will play a central role in the collection, management, integration, and interpretation of performance and medical data across the Women’s First Team. You will lead the development and optimisation of the club’s Athlete Management System (AMS), transforming complex multidisciplinary data into actionable insights that support performance enhancement, injury risk management, and informed decision-making across the football department.Key Responsibilities:Performance Data ManagementOversee the collection, quality control, and management of all performance and medical data within the first teamMaintain and expand the club’s Athlete Management System (AMS) to integrate multiple performance and medical data streamsManage data relating to GPS, wellness, force plate testing, injury records, strength diagnostics, training exposure, and match performanceEnsure data governance, consistency, accessibility, and integrity across departmentsAMS Development and IntegrationLead the development and optimisation of the club’s AMS infrastructureIntegrate multiple technologies, platforms, and databases into a unified performance systemAutomate data collection and reporting pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual processingDevelop custom dashboards and reporting tools using platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and AMS reporting interfacesPerformance Data Visualisation and Decision SupportDesign clear, actionable dashboards and visualisations for coaches and support staffProduce daily, weekly, and match-cycle reports covering training load, readiness, neuromuscular status, injury risk, and physical outputsTranslate complex datasets into practical recommendations that support coaching decisionsProvide meaningful insights that influence player monitoring and performance planningTechnical and Tactical Data IntegrationCollaborate with performance analysts to integrate physical data with technical and tactical outputs from platforms such as Hudl and ImpectDevelop datasets linking physical performance metrics with tactical phases of play and match contextAnalyse position-specific physical demands and high-intensity actions within football performance frameworksSupport opposition analysis and match review processes by contextualising physical outputs within tactical performanceResearch and InnovationRemain current with emerging research and applied methodologies in sports science and football analyticsLead and support applied research projects within the clubIdentify and implement innovative technologies and analytical approaches that improve player monitoring and decision-makingDrive continuous improvement through evidence-based practice and innovationCollaboration and Multidisciplinary SupportWork closely with medical, rehabilitation, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and technical analysis staffFacilitate effective information sharing across departments through structured reporting and communicationSupport the alignment of physical periodisation with football methodology and tactical objectivesContribute to an integrated high-performance environment focused on player development and availabilityQualificationsDesirable:PhD in Sport Science, Data Science, Performance Analysis, Sport & Exercise Physiology, or a related disciplineExperience working within women’s football environmentsExperience leading applied research projects in elite sportAdvanced knowledge of AI applications within sports performance environmentsSkills, Knowledge and Experience:Essential:MSc in Sport Science, Performance Analysis, Data Science, Sport & Exercise Physiology, or a related disciplineMinimum five years’ experience working within elite football environmentsExperience leading performance science, data, or monitoring functionsStrong knowledge of performance monitoring technologies and athlete tracking systemsExperience managing and developing Athlete Management Systems (AMS)Proficiency in coding, automation, and data science methodologiesAdvanced data analysis, interpretation, and visualisation skillsExperience building dashboards and decision-support toolsStrong understanding of football tactical structures and performance demandsAbility to communicate complex concepts clearly to coaches and non-technical stakeholdersExcellent organisational and project management skillsCollaborative mindset with experience working in multidisciplinary environmentsDesirable:Experience integrating physical, technical, and tactical data sourcesExperience using platforms such as Hudl, Impect, Power BI, Tableau, and other visualisation toolsStrong research background with published or applied performance projectsExperience operating
